Tisty 1.10.0
Take this build to every machine before any of them writes again.
The log moves to schema 12. A store written by this version is one an older
Tisty cannot read: a machine still on 1.9.3 meets what this one wrote, refuses
it and says to update rather than reading half of it. One new event puts a
folder away and one brings it back — nothing to migrate by hand, so update them
all in any order and go on working. A shared folder holding a newer history
stops the round on the old machine instead of letting it write beside it.
A folder goes into the archive whole
Until now the archive took documents one at a time, which left the folders that
held them standing empty and the documents themselves in a flat row underneath.
Work that is over now goes away in one go: the folder drops to the shelf with
its icon, its subfolders, its documents and their pages exactly as they were,
and comes back the same. Nothing is moved on the way in, so nothing has to be
put back on the way out.
What the archive holds is read, exported and packed as always, and written by
nobody — not the window, not the terminal, not an assistant. Nothing new goes
into a folder that is away: no new document, no import, no parcel, no moving one
in from outside, and what is in there does not move out until the folder
returns. Only the folder that was shelved comes back, and each document recovers
its own state when it does — one you had archived by hand in there stays
archived, because nobody said otherwise.
The tree opens quiet
Every folder now starts folded, and so do Unfiled and Archived. A store with
hundreds of documents is a handful of rows until you go looking, which is what
makes room for the archive to keep its shape instead of flattening it.
Smaller things
A folder in the archive says so on the shelf, one step in from the heading. A
right click marks the row its menu belongs to, so you can see which one it
landed on. A parcel carries the archive across whole, and one written here still
lands closed in a Tisty that knows nothing of shelved folders. The log stops
warning about a shared folder that is merely a round behind, and says which
document a refusal was about instead of only that there was one.
