v3.0.3
A big polish update for CopyPaste 3.0, above all on Mac. It installs from
About in Settings, through Homebrew, or through the Microsoft Store.
Your history is safe. Nothing is moved or deleted unless you ask.
What's new:
- The panel is quicker. It opens with your latest copies already in
place and disappears the moment you click elsewhere, with no more lag on
Mac. - Pasting lands where you expect. It goes into the app you were just
using, never into an old window or into CopyPaste itself, your cursor comes
back to where it was, and text keeps its formatting. - Screenshots show up right away. A screenshot copied straight to the
clipboard no longer leaves a blank card behind, and a copy with nothing
visible in it now says so. - The look you liked is back. The original colours stay, with the
system's own fonts, softer text on the light theme and a clearer font for
code. - Copying is never left unwatched. If the panel ever closes by accident,
it comes back on its own, and if your Mac stops CopyPaste from reading the
clipboard, you are told how to allow it. - Ready from the moment you sign in. New installs start with your
computer, and on Mac it appears under Login Items like any other app. - Your history takes care of its size. New installs keep up to 5 GB,
with a quiet note in Settings when it gets close. Copies you use often are
kept longer, and if the history file is ever damaged, CopyPaste puts it
aside and starts a fresh one instead of failing to open. History brought
over from CopyPaste 2 has no limit. - Shortcuts and language. A shortcut now always needs a key like Ctrl,
Cmd or Alt, so it can't clash with normal typing, and CopyPaste speaks
English unless your computer is set to Spanish. - On Mac, Cmd+Q in Settings closes just that window, the panel never
steals focus from what you are doing, and a copy running on an Intel build
moves to the Apple Silicon one. - Rating CopyPaste is only offered in the Microsoft Store version.
