Highlights of version 3.1.0 include:

Colour management is now supported for artwork in the Artwork view and in the playlist view, improving support for images with an embedded colour profile and making image colours more consistent with web browsers.

Most HDR images are now supported in the Artwork view on Windows 10 version 1809 and newer (with an HDR display) via the ‘Use Advanced Colour’ setting.

‘Show in File Explorer’ and ‘Copy path’ commands were added to the Artwork view context menu, and ‘Show in File Explorer’ was added as a click action for the Artwork view.

Layout editing context menus were reworked, both in live editing and in Preferences.

Panels can now be cut when editing the layout.

‘Horizontal splitter’ and ‘Vertical splitter’ were renamed ‘Row’ and ‘Column’ respectively.

Wine compatibility
The current version of Wine does not support all Direct2D features used by Columns 3.1.0 for artwork. Wine users needing artwork support can stay on version 3.0.0 or version 2.1.0.
