Features

• Support for starting foobar2000 immediately hidden (without the main window briefly appearing) when using foobar2000 /hide was added on foobar2000 2.1 and newer. [#1228]

  Additionally, in all versions of foobar2000, when foobar2000 is started minimised to the system tray due to it being last closed in that state, the main window is no longer briefly activated.

  (Note that other third-party components can still affect the behaviour.)

Bug fixes

• A crash that may have occurred in the Artwork view after there was an unexpected error reading artwork was fixed. [#1237]

• A bug where the previously displayed image remained in the Artwork view when an image failed to decode was fixed. [#1232]

  If an image fails to decode, the panel will now be blank. Decoding errors are logged in the console.

• The maximum item width calculation when double-clicking on column header dividers for built-in list views (with auto-sizing columns disabled) was updated to use DirectWrite for calculating text width. [#1236]

Internal changes

• Various dependencies were updated. [#1227, #1229]

• The /utf-8 compiler option is now used instead of /source-charset:utf-8.
