This release brings a major rewrite and a complete redesign of the desktop experience, with new ways to arrange your previews, present your work, and connect your AI coding tools. We’re excited for you to try it!
What's Changed
- A completely redesigned interface — refreshed light and dark themes, a new toolbar, easier access to site tools, and redesigned layout and zoom controls.
- New Canvas mode — freely arrange device previews, pan and zoom around your workspace, and save a different arrangement for each preview suite.
- Real device frames — see your website inside matching hardware artwork for supported phones, tablets, and laptops. [#1546](#1546)
- New Present mode — hide workspace controls for cleaner demos, screen shares, and recordings. Press Escape to return to your workspace.
- Built-in AI integration through MCP — connect Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or VS Code. Let your agent navigate pages, switch devices, interact with your site, and capture screenshots to check responsive layouts.
- Trackpad pinch zoom across layouts — zoom your previews with familiar gestures, including zooming around your pointer in Canvas.
- Rebuilt device and suite management — organize your previews while your pages stay live behind the device manager.
- Updated browser engine — upgraded to Electron 44.4.1, bringing newer Chromium and Electron fixes. [#1547](#1547)
- A new support menu — use the heart beside the notification bell to sponsor, star, or share Responsively. [#1548](#1548)
- Fixed unwanted redirects caused by navigation inside embedded frames, by @bhnprksh222 in [#1465](#1465).
- Fixed a mismatch in the saved preview-layout setting, by @Dailin521 in [#1478](#1478).
