Modern Emerald 3.5 changes are mostly made by @aloven, who single-handedly decided to fix ALL currently known bugs and issues from the game, and added incredible features such as double speed in battles. Yes, you heard that right.
ADDITIONS
- x2 battle speed is here! Can be enabled in the Options menu (by @aloven)
- Brighter nights option added in the options menu, for those who play in dim screens like original GBA SPs (by @aloven)
- Added a Cursor Memory option in the options menu to remember previous target selection (by @aloven)
- Chain fishing is back and it's now compatible with Synchronize! (by @aloven)
- Sweet Scent chaining also implemented! Works the same way as chain fishing but chains are lower, so shinies are harder than chain fishing (by @aloven)
- The Pokédex now registers shiny forms! Press A in the "info" screen. Will only show up if you've seen the shiny form. (by @aloven)
- When healing in the Pokecenter or the Hall of Fame, the correct party ball types will be shown! (by @aloven)
- Added designated button follower system in the Party Menu, so the first Pokémon in the party isn't the one that follows the player anymore (by @aloven)
- Added the ability to press SELECT when learning/forgetting a move in order to see the Pokémon stats and abilities (by @aloven)
- Rare candies can be used to evolve Pokémon that are already at lvl100 or at the level cap (by @aloven)
- Added BW battle music! Can be selected from the options menu.
IMPROVEMENTS
- You can't get BP without the Battle Pass active
- Trading and self-trading uses the correct Pokéball sprite (by @aloven)

- Frontier Brain music is now controlled by the "Frontier music" option
- Re-added back Night Encounters to external routes.
- ONLY affects "Modern Encounters" and "Post-game encounters" ("Vanilla Encounters" and "Post-game Encounters" without beating the game DON'T have Night Encounters).
- No new Pokémon are added to any route, the only changes are that there are higher chances of certain species appearing during nightime (Eg. Mime Jr. has a 2% chance of appearing in Route 102 at night, and 1% during day).
