This release will not work with versions of the Openshift Pipelines operator less than 1.2.
The upstream dependencies, TektonCD Pipeline and TektonCD triggers have had backwards-incompatibilities in the newer versions.
If you have resources built with an earlier version, you might be able to upgrade these automatically using kam build.
