Rebecca 1.8.0
Rebecca 1.8.0 adds per-user speed limits, live speed on the admins and inbounds lists, per-service admin usage coefficients, node certificates over ACME, and lighter node usage collection. It also lightens the online-user queries and the live stats stream, so a busy panel uses less CPU.
Highlights
- ๐ฆ Per-user speed limits โ set a limit in Mbps on each user. Leave it empty for unlimited. Nodes apply the limit at runtime, so Xray does not need a restart. VPN and SSH tunnel users are limited by Rebecca Node 1.7.0.
- ๐ Live speed per admin and inbound โ the admins list shows the upload and download speed of each admin's users, and the inbounds list shows the speed of each inbound. Both refresh every 5 seconds.
- ๐งฎ Admin usage coefficients โ set a usage coefficient per service, or a custom one for an admin on that service. Admins are charged the coefficient times the user's traffic, while users keep their real usage.
- ๐ Node certificates โ issue a certificate for a node domain or IP address over ACME, and reuse IP certificates in inbounds. Domain certificates renew 30 days before expiry, and IP certificates keep the 48-hour window.
- ๐ Summary totals โ the nodes, inbounds, and admins pages show totals for traffic, speed, users, and online users.
- ๐ก Bandwidth totals โ the bandwidth card switches between master and nodes. The nodes total adds up only the node speeds.
- ๐ Tidier tables โ the admins table is more compact, with a stacked traffic bar, and quick actions sit after the expiry column on wide screens. The inbound target picker lists the default first and selects only custom nodes with select-all.
- ๐ฑ Mobile dialogs โ phone dialogs open as bottom sheets, and the sidebar is more compact.
Reliability and compatibility
- Node usage is collected and acknowledged in one call when the node supports it, and larger requests to nodes are compressed. Nodes without these capabilities keep the previous calls.
- A node's capabilities are refreshed within a minute of a restart, so an updated node is recognized without restarting the panel.
- Sync operations no longer replay an old success after the node operations table is pruned on SQLite.
- SQLite writers wait for the busy timeout and use WAL on every connection, so concurrent workers no longer fail at once.
- IP limits are enforced across Xray and VPN devices.
- The online-user query uses its previous form, and the live stats stream costs less CPU.
Upgrade notes
Back up the database before updating. Rebecca 1.8.0 moves the database to schema version 64, which adds the first-seen time of online IPs, service usage coefficients, and per-user speed limits. The columns are added automatically when the panel starts. Downgrading the panel after this upgrade is not supported. Upgrade Rebecca and Rebecca Node together. VPN and SSH speed limits and node certificate issuance need Rebecca Node 1.7.0. Nodes on 1.6.x keep running, but they do not enforce VPN or SSH speed limits and cannot issue ACME certificates.
