RC Testing Features
- Visual RC Indicator: Orange "RC" badge in header for easy identification
- Updated Page Title: Browser tab shows "Pulse RC"
- Update Testing: This RC version allows testing the new sudoless update system
Testing Instructions
This is a release candidate for testing only:
- ⚠️ Not recommended for production use
- 🧪 Test the new sudoless update mechanism
- 🔄 Switch between stable (v3.22.1) and RC channels in Settings > Advanced
- 📝 Please report any issues on GitHub
What to Test
- Update Channel Switching: Change between "Stable" and "RC" channels in settings
- Sudoless Updates: Updates should now work without manual sudo commands
- Visual Feedback: Verify the RC badge appears in the header
- Update Process: Test the complete update flow from RC back to stable
This RC builds on the stable v3.22.1 release with additional testing features.
