Stash v0.9.33 — Streaming auto-recovery + Play Artist

Lossless that just works
The biggest pain point with lossless streaming was the 30-minute
captcha cycle — every time it expired you had to paste a cookie from
your browser. Stash now solves the captcha programmatically in the
background, so lossless keeps streaming for as long as you do, no
interruptions, no setup, nothing to paste. The cookie refreshes
silently before it expires.

Even better: when the primary lossless server has issues, Stash
notices and automatically swaps to the backup server. You won't see
"please re-paste your captcha" anymore.

Albums with stylized artist names ($NOT, ¥$, +44, etc.) now find their
lossless tracks correctly. Before, they were silently falling back to
YouTube even when Qobuz had the album.

Playback that fails loudly
If streaming runs into trouble (network drops, server outage), Stash
used to silently skip through 15+ tracks in your queue at a few
seconds each. Now it pauses after a few failures and shows you a
message — your queue stays intact, you choose what to do next.

Play Artist
There's now a Play button on every artist page. Tap it and Stash
queues up to 30 tracks across the artist's popular songs, albums,
and singles — plenty of music for a few hours of listening. Like
Spotify's artist play, but using your library.

Add albums to your queue
Open any album → tap "Queue" → those tracks get added to whatever's
playing. Stack albums from different artists into one continuous
session.

Cellular streaming control
We had a "Streaming on cellular is off" error message but no setting
to actually turn it on (oops). Settings → Playback now has a "Stream
on cellular" switch. Off by default to avoid surprise data use.

Smoother queue
Swiping a song off the queue is now precise and animated — only the
track you swiped gets removed. Previously fast swipes could yank
multiple tracks at once.

Settings reorder
"Support Stash" moved to the top of the Settings list, above
Playback. If Stash replaced a subscription for you, the donate and
star buttons are now the first thing you see when you open Settings.

Other improvements

  • Detailed logging when streaming sources fall back to each other,
so future issues are easier to diagnose
  • "Play All" and "Add to Queue" buttons fire confirmation immediately
instead of after the URLs finish resolving

Known issues

  • Albums that aren't on Qobuz at all (real YouTube-only stuff)
still don't add to the queue reliably yet — coming in a future
    update.
