ravynOS Demo Virtual Machine Image
This package contains the ravynOS demo VM previously discussed here. Unzip, run the shell script inside the top level folder, and enjoy. Several new commands were added and there is a new toy in /sbin/ws.
/sbin/ws is a sample user client to the IOFramebuffer, which is how WindowServer will connect to it. If you run the command, two things will happen: your screen will go dark purple, and output will switch to the serial console because ws took over the graphics console. You can't go back, I don't know how it works. Goodbye folks!

2026-07-27: This update adds several more command line tools such as tail, ps, sleep, env, printf, sed, uname, etc. Most work - some do not, yet. A small kernel patch to better support AMD processors was added from PureDarwin. The fake launchd now includes an exception handler to silence the console spam "Failed to send exception" when a process ends. The /sbin/mount_hfs command has also been added so the root filesystem can be mounted read-write. (Follow the instructions printed at boot to do this.)
2026-07-25: This update replaces the quick-and-dirty shell with the real BSD Almquist shell (commonly called ash or dash), fixes several issues with the graphics console, and adds several more commands to the image.
