github raomin/ESPAltherma v2.0.0-beta.7

pre-release3 hours ago

Update from the web interface. System → Firmware update → Check for an update: your browser finds the newer release on the installer's site, downloads the file of your board and installs it. The board itself never goes to the Internet for it. Tick Development builds for the preview builds.

Two boards on one broker. Settings → MQTT output → Base topic: every topic, the Home Assistant entities, the device and the MQTT client id follow it (for example espaltherma-odu). Left at espaltherma, nothing changes. The board's IP address is now in ATTR and shows as a diagnostic sensor.

Models

  • Altherma 4: the drawing's refrigerant temperature comes from the liquid pipe (R6T); R3T, always 0 on it, is gone.
  • Altherma HT: the 0x10 status values, which never change on the hydrobox, are gone.
  • Rotex (protocol S): temperatures below 0 °C read right (a defrost no longer shows 253.5 °C), the leaving water and the 3-way valve show on the drawing, and the error, warning and caution codes show in the status line. Thanks @TungstenE2.
  • The drawing fills the backup heater when it runs.

Setup. The installer page gives http://192.168.4.1 for when the setup network's page does not open by itself.

Home Assistant card: v1.0.6 (Rotex names, Altherma 4 refrigerant).
