Depressurizer 0.5.0 (Sep 4 2014) (Previous Version)
Changelist
- Major Changes & New Features
- Now includes multi-category support for both manual and auto categorization.
- New category picker below the game list.
- Support for hiding games.
- Modifying games categories or favorite status via the controls below the game list no longer requires clicking a button to apply the changes to the selected games.
- Very early stages of support for alternate auto-categorization schemes. At this time, the only choices are variations on genre-based categorization, similar to what has existed.
- Single-category genre categorization will only use the first genre from the Steam store page. Multi-category will use all of them.
- The "with removal" option will remove existing categories that match Steam genre names from the autocategorized games. An "Action" genre will be removed, but an "Action RPG" genre will be left in place. "No removal" will only add categories.
- Removed manual import option. You now must create a profile to use the program.
- Other changes
- Now targets .NET Framework v4.5.1
- Categories now sort in the same order that they do in Steam (I think).
- No longer writes directly to Steam config files: writes temporary files, then moves them into place. This should prevent a problem during writing from destroying your configuration.
- Added an automatic backup for Steam config files. Keeps the previous three versions of localconfig.vdf and shortcuts.vdf.
Other notes
Some parts of the Spanish translation are incomplete.
