Four faults from the tracker, fixed at the cause. Every one of them was reported by somebody here.

| The installer crashed before it opened | On some machines DLSS5-Swapper-Setup.exe died instantly with 0xc0000005, no window and no prompt, while the portable build was fine. The installer framework asked Windows for the per-user Programs folder and then read past the end of the string it got back. Fixed upstream, and this release is built with the fixed version (#344)

| Restore originals went dead with the files still in the game | A finished restore renames the backup record aside, and everything that decides whether a game has anything installed read only the live one. A restore interrupted after that rename, a game folder moved or copied, an install that rolled back: all of them showed "nothing installed" and a greyed out button. The app now offers the newest retired record whose files are still in the game, restores from the same backups, and says so in the log. The offer disappears by itself once the files are gone (#325) |
| dgVoodoo2 flagged by antivirus | The wrapper for DirectX 8/9 games was pinned to 2.87.4. Upstream released 2.87.5 precisely because engines flag 2.87.4, and the app now downloads that instead, pinned by digest as before (#390) |
| ReShade never started in a wrapped DirectX 8/9 game | Inside dgVoodoo the game becomes a DirectX 11 one, and some setups load only d3d11.dll, never dxgi.dll. ReShade then never started, so nothing downstream of it did either: no overlay, no feed, and no log to explain it. The ReShade file choice is offered for these games now, dxgi.dll still the default (#343, #374)
