Improvements
- Upload can customize the selection area and hide the file list. The new
ChooseTemplaterenders custom content in place of the choose button and the newShowFileListparameter hides the built-in list of selected files. Thanks to @Radium001! - FabMenu behaves like a menu from the keyboard. ArrowDown or ArrowUp on the closed toggle opens the menu and focuses the first item, the arrow keys, Home and End move between the items and wrap, Escape closes the menu and returns focus to the toggle, and Tab lets focus leave and closes the menu. Opening the menu with Enter or Space also focuses the first item. The new
OpenAsyncmethod opens the menu from code.
Fixes
- FormField names its input without the
Componentparameter. The labelforattribute was written only fromComponent, so a field wrapping aRadzenTextBoxleft the input without an accessible name and axe reported thelabelrule as critical on every such field. The wrapped component now registers the id of its labelable element with the form field,Componentstill takes precedence, and components whose focusable element cannot be a label target, such asRadzenDropDown,RadzenCheckBoxandRadzenListBox, are named througharia-labelledby(#2794). - DropDown and DropDownDataGrid take their accessible name from a
RadzenLabelor a plain label associated throughName. The combobox renderedaria-labelwith the selected text, so a screen reader announced the value with nothing to say which field it was. The label is now linked througharia-labelledbyon the client and the selected text is exposed as the combobox value (#2793). - CheckBox takes its accessible name from a
RadzenLabelor a plain label associated throughName. The label targeted the hidden inner input, so the focusable element had no name unlessAriaLabelwas set and axe reportedaria-toggle-field-name(#2791). - RadioButtonList, CheckBoxList, CheckBox and the select-all box of ListBox and DropDown mark their hidden native input
inert, so it is no longer focusable and axe no longer reportsnested-interactiveon every item (#2792). - FabMenu renders its items with role
menuiteminside themenucontainer and the container carries the toggle'sAriaLabelas its name, so axe no longer reportsaria-required-children. The items form a single tab stop reached with the arrow keys (#2790). - Steps moves focus to the first and last step on Home and End. Both keys did nothing because the search for the target started outside the list (#2788).
- Steps renders
aria-disabled="true"on disabled steps instead of an empty attribute (#2789). Thanks to @ewerton336! - Chart legend items render
aria-disabledwithtrueorfalseinstead of the literal text of the Razor expression (#2787). Thanks to @ewerton336! - Upload keeps a
stylesupplied throughInputAttributes, which an inline style on the file input overrode before. A file dropped on a disabled upload without a template no longer navigates the page, andRemoveFilehonours itsignoreCaseargument, which compared names the opposite way.
