New
- ampr-emu-ng v0.2.0. The bundled ampr-emu-ng is now its v0.2.0 release. Games carrying v0.1.0 are still recognized. The AMPR tile shows the runtime and its version.
- Custom packing rules. zstd and LZ4 Pack take a TOML profile that decides which files are packed and which stay loose: the Pack tab's Custom rules fold, or CLI
--pack-profile. The file can be on this device, a paired device or a saved NAS. Seedocs/packing.md. - Smarter built-in packing. Protected and video folders match in any case, Insomniac's sound and movie containers stay loose, and the job log says why each group of files stays loose.
Fixes
- Much faster with many small files: inspecting Gran Turismo 7 (95,382 files) on Windows went from 185-430 s to 4-5 s, and folder outputs write small files on 4 threads.
- A folder output writes
sce_sys/andeboot.binlast, so ShadowMount+ never finds a half-written game. - A packed game whose packs also hold a file that is on disk (LZ4 or zstd) is no longer refused: an identical copy keeps the plain file, otherwise the packed copy is used.
Thanks
- @LuanQuanzTeixeira made their first contribution in #17: scanned files are opened for their attributes only on Windows, behind the much faster inspection above.
