▸ Qtum Core upgraded to Bitcoin Core 30.2

Includes upstream updates from 29.2, 30.0, 30.1, and 30.2.

Main highlights

• AssumeUTXO support: load and verify UTXO snapshots for faster node startup.
• BIP324 v2 transport protocol support (optional, off by default).
• Opportunistic 1-parent-1-child package relay improved to handle broader topologies.
• Orphanage DoS protections rewritten with weight-based limits.
• GUI migrated from Qt 5 to Qt 6 (dark mode on Windows, Metal backend on macOS).
• -natpmp enabled by default for automatic port forwarding (replaces -upnp).
• -proxy now supports per-network proxies (IPv4, IPv6, Tor, CJDNS).
• Disk logging rate-limited to 1 MiB/hour per source.
• Caps enforced for -maxmempool and -dbcache on 32-bit systems.
• datacarriersize increased to 100,000 by default (effectively uncapped).
• Multiple OP_RETURN outputs now permitted in a single transaction.
• dumptxoutset RPC now supports rollback parameter to dump at a past height.
• getblock verbosity 3 returns detailed transaction data including inputs and scripts.
• getchainstates RPC returns information about both normal and snapshot chainstates.
• submitpackage RPC no longer requires all unconfirmed parents to be present.
• waitfornewblock, waitforblock, and waitforblockheight RPCs are no longer hidden.
• bumpfee and psbtbumpfee allow replacement under full RBF (no BIP-125 signalling required).
• getwalletinfo removes deprecated balance, unconfirmed_balance, and immature_balance fields (use getbalances instead).
• TRUC (version 3) transaction support in wallet.
• Fixed Ctrl-C shutdown hangs during IPC wait calls.
• Fixed unnamed legacy wallet migration failure.
• Fixed high overhead from IPC message logging.
• Minimum required Boost version updated to 1.82.
• General security, translation, and performance fixes.

▸ Additional Updates

• Fixed CheckSync to properly set state.Invalid(), ensuring correct submitblock return values.
• Fixed transaction table model display in Qt GUI.
• Updated Guix builds for Linux, macOS, and Windows to exclude libff from the Qtum package.
• Updated nMinimumChainWork, defaultAssumeValid, and chainTxData.
• Added recent checkpoints for mainnet and testnet.

▸ Legacy Wallets No Longer Supported

Legacy (BDB) wallets are no longer supported. Descriptor (sqlite) wallets are now the only supported wallet format. To migrate an existing legacy wallet:

./qtum-cli migratewallet wallet.dat

A backup of the original wallet is saved automatically during migration. The following legacy-only RPCs have been removed: addmultisigaddress, dumpprivkey, dumpwallet, importaddress, importmulti, importprivkey, importpubkey, importwallet, newkeypool, sethdseed, and upgradewallet.
