This release corresponds to the 3.39 release of the Windows version.
Although titled "Linux", it would be more accurate to call it "wx", as it's built upon wxWidgets, and has been known to run on some non-Linux platforms.
Note that the "Source Code" zip and tgz is automatically created by GitHub. Rather than downloading, verifying, signing and uploading the signature, it's easier for me to create a tgz file from my own source tree, sign that and upload both.
