What's new

v1.5.0 and v1.5.1:

• You guessed it: even faster startup!
  This version uses a custom bootloader to cut pre-kernel boot time. Overall about
  a 30% speedup across all models. The total boot time is now 3.2 sec vs. 4.2 sec
  of the previous release, though it varies from device to device. The RG34XXSP
  sees the biggest speedup, while the RG SP and RG40XXV have the fastest boot
  times.

v1.5.2:

• The new boot method now works on most devices, including the RG40XX H and
  RG CubeXX.
• The boot log (baseos-boot.log on the card) now has much more detailed info
  to help with debugging. It's safe to delete this file from your SD card at any time.
• On-screen messages no longer overlap after an update.

How to update

Copy baseos-<your model>-1.5.2.bosupd to the card and turn the device on. It
updates and restarts by itself. Don't turn it off while it shows "SPEEDING UP BOOT".

For a new card, flash baseos-<your model>-1.5.2.img.zip.

If your device still doesn't use the new boot method, send us
baseos-boot.log from the card.
