Fixed
- Fixed audio and subtitle tracks disappearing when multiple playlists share track names and group IDs (#472).
- Keep track IDs stable when a playlist is parsed again, with separate identities for audio, subtitles, and closed captions.
- Preserve existing audio and subtitle selections by migrating older saved choices when a unique match is available.
Validation
- All 304 unit, integration, and component tests passed, including 11 new regression tests for playlist identity, query strings, track types, ambiguous names, rescans, and saved selections.
- Workspace typechecking and the security gate passed. The existing low-severity deepmerge advisory remains covered by the project's tested local patch.
- All six MV2/MV3 archives passed integrity, contents, and version checks.
- Firefox lint reported zero errors and six existing warnings.
Installation
- Chromium: extract
extension-mv3-chrome.zipand load the folder as an unpacked extension. - Firefox: the GitHub XPI archives are unsigned and can be loaded temporarily through
about:debugging. Firefox Add-ons distribution requires separate Mozilla signing and approval. - Browser minimum versions remain Firefox 128 and Chromium 111.
