a theme correctness release with an audit pass over the sampler, config, and
render paths. no new features.
fixed
- the ansi theme rendered its waveform in black. palette indices were converted
to rgb on the way to the canvas, so every graph cell read as #000000. indices
now pass through untouched and emit the terminal's own 16 colors, which is
the point of the theme. - ansi accents were sampled from the middle of the gradient, so download came
out cyan and upload came out yellow. accents now follow the theme tokens,
bright blue down and bright green up, and the gradients brighten toward the
crest instead of dimming at the top. - 16 color terminals were sent 256 color escapes, and term=dumb was sent
escapes it cannot render. both degrade honestly now. - auto interface selection could produce a multi terabyte rate spike when it
switched nics, because unrelated lifetime counters were subtracted. the
sampler resets its window on a switch and reports a zero baseline tick
instead of a lie. - the history key was silently deleted from the config whenever flow saved it,
for example from the theme picker. - config warnings named the corrected value instead of the offending one, and
were never printed. they are on stderr now and name what to fix. nan
smoothing is rejected, graph.window accepts 10m and 2h style values, and the
flat view key is validated like its section form. - reload decoded over a zero config, so keys deleted from the file reverted to
zero values instead of defaults. - daily totals could be lost when the process died mid save. stats.json is
written atomically now. - descending gradients wrapped at the midpoint, and the 256 color gray ramp
stopped one step short of white. - interface details reported a down link as up when any flag was set.
- negative pad widths and negative or nan spark samples could abort a formatted
stream, and the spark sample list was never populated. templates also compile
once per stream instead of per sample. - the ui title showed dev for go install builds while --version showed the real
version.
