HelixScreen v0.99.78
-
Per-unit filament drying for Happy Hare multi-MMU / EMU (#1022) — each MMU or EMU unit now reports its own box humidity and temperature, with the dryer heater and a minute-based drying duration controlled per unit.
-
AFC "Unloads After Print" toggle — a per-printer setting controlling whether AFC unloads filament when a print finishes.
-
Adaptive bed mesh and load-cell probe support — print start can request an adaptive bed mesh, load-cell probes are supported, and the active bed-mesh profile is highlighted.
-
CC1 survives COSMOS firmware upgrades — a three-sibling gui-switcher hijack plus boot-time self-heal keeps HelixScreen installed across a COSMOS firmware update.
-
Several rare navigation crashes fixed — overlay pushes are guarded against a target freed before the deferred push drains and against an empty panel stack, and deleted widgets are scrubbed from the panel stack to close a use-after-free (bundle ZW6ATWSL).
-
Touch calibration reliability (#943, #986) — capture-on-press / commit-on-release debouncing is now on by default, affine calibration re-enables when entering the verify step, the manual-recalibration button stays available, and the manual calibration row is hidden on devices that don't need it.
-
AD5X IFS respects external color changes (#981) — an external
CHANGE_ZCOLORnow releases a stale locked override so the firmware's color and type win, and unload ejects non-active lanes instead of yanking the loaded channel (with a longer action-prompt timeout). -
CFS no longer shows a false pre-print runout warning — CFS unloads the toolhead after a print, which was being misread as a runout.
-
QIDI Box dryer temperature shown for Happy Hare, and Happy Hare drying presets are clamped to the heater's limits.
-
Home screen no longer stalls on the printer image (#1025) — the printer-image refresh is deferred out of panel attach/activation.
-
Home edit mode ignores widget taps (#1003) — tapping a widget while rearranging the home screen no longer launches it.
-
On-machine updates work on static-glibc printers (AD5M and similar) — the libhv DNS resolver wiring now reaches the shipped binary.
-
QIDI Q2 no longer misdetected as an Artillery M1 (#1027) — installer fingerprinting now tells the two printers apart.
-
A second printer is no longer misdetected as Unknown — the detector restores stripped heuristics before running, so adding a subsequent printer fingerprints correctly instead of falling back to Unknown.
-
"AMS" / "Multi-Material" is now "Multi-Filament System" throughout the UI.
-
Removed the broken load-cell calibration screen — the mock printer is authoritative for probe behavior; logging docs updated.
-
Filament Environment overlay now has a responsive landscape layout, and the wide multi-cell spool view gets a card background.
-
Setup wizard skips hardware steps a preset already covers when you add a subsequent printer, so configuring a second printer is faster.
