Manually-set nozzle target preserved across filament load/unload — if you'd already heated the hotend (e.g. ABS at 240°C) and clicked Load with a different material selected, the post-op cooldown manager killed the heater 120s later thinking it owned the preheat. Now snapshots the live extruder target at every op-handler entry, and the preheat path won't drop a higher manual setpoint to a lower material preset (no more 240→200 dip on cold-nozzle load).

Chamber-temp display no longer flashes bed temp on QIDI Q2 (#947) — two independent bugs: (a) heater + thermal-protection sensor coexisting let partial Moonraker updates overwrite chamber_temp with the bed-side sensor reading, so heater is now the canonical source when present; (b) is_chamber_keyword() greedily matched BOX substrings, so QIDI Box dryer objects (box1_heater, Box1_STM32) hijacked the chamber slot. Now scores CHAMBER=100 / ENCLOSURE=90 / CAVITY=85 / standalone-token BOX=60 and tracks the best match per channel.

Cached overlays reflow to current canvas width on resize (#951) — OverlayBase caches its root widget across show/hide for state preservation, but the width was baked in at first create. When the canvas later shrank (Android navbar pin shrinking the LVGL surface), the cached overlay kept its old width and slid left under the sidebar. The resize callback now re-applies overlay_panel_width_full/overlay_panel_width to any *_overlay widget without destroying it.

Android Keep Navigation Bar setting survives fold and app-switch on Galaxy Z Fold 7 (#951) — configChanges in AndroidManifest keeps the activity alive across folds so onResume never fired; an onConfigurationChanged override + OnApplyWindowInsetsListener self-correct after SDL's window-style race. With targetSdk 35 + edge-to-edge enforced, the content view is now padded manually by WindowInsets.Type.navigationBars() so LVGL no longer draws behind a pinned side navbar (Fold 7 landscape clipping). System-bar icon appearance follows the active theme's background luminance; targetSdk/compileSdk bumped 34 → 35 for Play Store forward compatibility.

Snapmaker U1 post-install commands point at the real init script (#952) — INIT_SCRIPT_DEST was /etc/init.d/S99helixscreen, a path that has never existed on U1 (the installer patches stock /etc/init.d/S99screen to delegate to helixscreen.init). Now points at ${INSTALL_DIR}/config/helixscreen.init. Log-path hint also corrected — U1 writes to /var/log/helixscreen/launcher.log or ${INSTALL_DIR}/logs/launcher.log, never /tmp/helixscreen.log.

QIDI documentation refactor (#963) — docs/user/QIDI_SUPPORT.md reordered by release date, TJC reframed as OEM (not a clone), Plus 4 reclassified to the older MKSPI bucket. Follow-up fixup restored the plus4/plus-4 hostname pattern, GitHub repo URL (no spaces), the FILAMENT_MANAGEMENT anchor, and propagated the TJC-OEM correction to README.md + docs/devel/printer-research/QIDI_PLUS_4_RESEARCH.md.
