The display board now uses your FlightAware routes, the same way the Live map does.
With a FlightAware key set, tapping a plane on the display board to open its details now asks FlightAware for its route, just as opening a plane on the Live map does: one lookup per flight, counted against your monthly budget. The details card then shows the route with a FlightAware label and "Departed 3:12 PM · arrives about 6:05 PM". The board's rows and photo-rail cards never spend a lookup: they show the FlightAware route for any flight that's already been looked up, from the board, the Live map or a watchlist alert, and the free route list for the rest. Without a key, nothing changes.
Operational notes
This is an ordinary update with a normal restart and no database change. Reload the display board to pick up the change.
Behind the scenes
GET /api/callsign/{callsign}/routetakesfa=cachedas well asfa=1:cacheduses a FlightAware route only if one was already looked up and never spends a lookup. The board's rows and cards ask withfa=cached; opening a plane's details switches that flight tofa=1.
