Fixed GitHub Apply button styling — now visually matches the Local update card's primary action. Discovered during dogfooding the v3.0.x apply path on the live /updates page: the Apply update (vX.Y.Z) button on the GitHub update card was rendering as a plain outlined button, visually indistinguishable from "View on GitHub" and "Check again" secondary actions. The Local update card's Apply X.Y.Z & restart button rendered correctly with the cyan-fill primary styling. Root cause was a class-name typo introduced in v3.0.1: applyBtn.className = 'btn primary' (space-separated, two classes: btn + primary) where the actual CSS rule defined in static/theme.css:321 is .btn-primary (hyphenated, single class). Browser parsed the typo'd version as classes btn and primary — btn is a real rule (the outlined base style), but no CSS rule exists for .primary alone, so the button silently fell back to plain outlined. The fix changes both occurrences (applyBtn in state 4 / update-available, plus checkBtn in state 2 / never-checked-yet which had the same typo and the same silent fallback) to use the correct 'btn btn-primary' two-class string. End result: the GitHub card's primary actions now have the same unmistakable cyan-fill visual weight as every other primary action across the app. Two-line code change in templates/updates.html. The typo had been latent since v3.0.1 (no functional impact, only visual), exposed when a user actually had v3.0.x apply available to look at on their /updates page.

  • Bumped the bootstrap script's design-vintage header from 2.97.4-draft to 3.0.3-draft. Per the established convention (memory: "the header tracks the script's design vintage, not the release it ships in; bump-version.sh's version-string updater intentionally doesn't touch the -draft suffix"), the bootstrap version header is updated manually only when the script's actual design evolves — not on every release the script ships in. v3.0.3 added a real design change: the show_help() function's sed-the-source approach got replaced with a literal heredoc, making --help invocation-path-agnostic. That's a behavioral change worth marking in the vintage header. The -draft suffix stays because the earn-out condition (end-to-end clean-VM dogfood of the actual install flow on a fresh Ubuntu droplet) hasn't happened yet. Until that dogfood passes, the script remains marked draft regardless of how many design improvements it accumulates.

  • No functional behavior change in this release beyond the visual button styling. All v3.0.x channel infrastructure (check, apply, notify) and the curl-install surface (DNS, redirect, --help) continue to work exactly as they did at v3.0.3. This is purely a polish release closing out the visual rough edge that was exposed during dogfooding.
