Orivio TV v0.15
Sideload both files the usual way: Sideload.ipa installs alongside an existing Orivio with its own data, Sideloadly.ipa updates an existing sideloaded install in place.
What's new
🎉 Watch parties. Start a watch party straight from the player: open the Info panel and pick Watch Party. Share the six-character code, and everyone who joins follows the host's play, pause and seek. The lobby shows who's in, the host gets the controls, and guests see the host's position as it moves.
👈 Left now means "the list next to me". Pressing Left used to open the side menu even when you were trying to reach the rows inside the page. Left now steps into the in-page list first — categories, posters, settings rows — in the sidebar, rail and top-bar layouts alike. Only when there's nothing to the left does it open the menu.
🏠 Home stays how you set it. Layout changes now save and stick across relaunch instead of snapping back to defaults, and stepping back out of a settings option returns you to the previous page rather than the main menu.
📜 No more jumpy rows. The up/down animation on Home was landing rows at two different heights and sliding a second time roughly half a second later. Row heights are now measured exactly, so each press is one clean move and the rows don't bob when you enter or leave the tall Featured row.
👀 "… to Watch After …" can be turned off. Settings → Layout now has a switch for the recommendation rows built from the last titles you finished. Off means the rows (and their TMDB lookups) don't happen at all.
🎬 Trailers can be dismissed. Once a trailer starts, Menu closes it — you no longer have to scrub to the end to get back.
🔧 RealDebrid sync fixed. v0.13 and v0.14 pushed the bare provider name and the server rejected the whole sync with "Unsupported provider credentials: realdebrid". Credentials now sync under the names the server knows, legacy bare names are still accepted on pull, and one rejected provider no longer takes the rest of the sync down with it.
⏯️ Pause and resume survive everything. Unpausing kept failing after the audio route changed (AirPlay, Bluetooth, HDMI handoff) or after the TV went to sleep. The player now re-checks its state on route changes and after wake, instead of holding a stale pause intent.
⚡ Tuning for Apple TV HD and 4K (1st gen). Far rows hold their artwork until they come near, so launch isn't fighting hundreds of decodes on an A8. Frame pacing is re-checked once the display mode settles rather than being given up on early, which is what the lingering jitter was.
Thanks
Report anything odd, and support is always appreciated — if this reaches $100 I can buy a year-long dev account and get Orivio onto TestFlight.
