Shuffle for shows, IPTV provider login, a rebuilt Atmos passthrough, and a Trakt sync that finally imports your whole history. Plus faster debrid starts and a round of focus fixes. Full breakdown below.
🎲 Shuffle
A new dice button on every show's page plays a random aired episode straight away, with no source list. After that it keeps going with random episodes you haven't seen yet in this session.
- Up Next always counts down in shuffle mode, even with auto-play off.
- "Are you still watching?" is skipped, so it runs until the show runs out or you leave.
📺 IPTV provider login
Settings → Live TV now takes the server address, username and password most IPTV providers hand out (Xtream Codes), so you don't have to hunt for a playlist link. Your channels replace the built-in list, the same as a pasted playlist, and the password is masked on screen afterward.
🔊 Atmos passthrough, rebuilt
The Atmos path from v0.09 got a ground-up rework:
- Pause pauses the sound. Before, the audio kept playing and dragged the picture along with it.
- Seek anywhere, including far-forward jumps and back to the start.
- Switching audio tracks now switches the Atmos audio too.
- Speed changes hand the audio back to the normal engine; it returns to Atmos at 1x.
- If Atmos fails or stalls, you get your normal audio back instead of silence.
- No more audio cutting out partway through long films, and memory use no longer grows with the length of the film.
⚡ Faster, steadier starts
- Debrid links resolve once. The cache now follows an add-on's link to the real CDN and downloads from there, instead of asking the add-on to look the file up again for every chunk. That repeated lookup was behind a lot of "stuck loading, then froze" starts.
- The pre-play check has a hard time limit. Slow links were holding it for close to 20 seconds.
- Uncached links go last. When a source fails over, links marked as not cached yet ("[TB download]", ⏳, ⬇️) are tried after everything else, so you don't land on a "still downloading" notice video.
- Trailers no longer freeze halfway. YouTube reported some at double their real length.
- Click Only remotes can open the info sheet: press Down on the playback bar.
🔄 Trakt sync that actually syncs
- Your full watch history imports. Trakt stopped returning episodes unless the app asks for them, and it pages every list at 100 items. The app was importing zero episodes, which made Continue Watching tiny, Next Up empty, and watched episodes show as unwatched.
- No more re-pushing your history to Trakt. A failed Trakt download now skips that part of the sync instead of treating your history as empty.
- Full watchlist, however big.
- Shows you dropped on Trakt stay out of Next Up.
- Watched badges match across add-ons. A show opened through a TMDB-based add-on shows the same watched episodes as its IMDb version.
- Next Up now considers 32 shows instead of 20.
- AIOMetadata "Up Next" rows (SIMKL / MDBList / Trakt up-next catalogs) now resume properly from Continue Watching.
🧭 Navigation
- Swiping into the sidebar doesn't jump anymore. It lands on the tab you're on.
- Left opens the sidebar from any tab, including right after switching tabs.
- A hidden sidebar stops getting stuck on screen. If it pops out without getting focus, it tucks itself away.
- Right out of the sidebar lands on the first card of the row you came from, not the fourth.
- Hold menus stop flickering when something syncs in the background.
- Episode air dates on every episode card.
💡 Tip
If a show vanishes from Continue Watching while you wait for its next episode, check Settings → Layout → "Show unaired next up." Off hides the show until the episode airs; on keeps it there.
