Some archeology
Beside the source code for version 4.3.01, we include some older binaries here. They are:
- the last binary version for Solaris (4.3; January 26, 2005)
- the last version for MacOS 7 (4.2.23; November 17, 2004)
- the last version that runs on MacOSX 10.1 (4.1.13; October 22, 2003)
- the last binary versions for HPUX and SGI (4.1; May 28, 2003)
- a range of older Windows versions (praat_XXXX.exe)
- a range of older MacOS X Carbon versions (PraatM_XXXX.sit: self-extracting StuffIt)
- the oldest Macintosh System 7 version we could find (Praat7_3870.sit, of September 2000)
The MacOS 7 edition requires the SIL IPA phonetic font (1993 version), which is also included here.
