Audio

• New - Skip Silence toggle in the EQ sheet trims quiet gaps from playback. Follows your per-book EQ setting. Android only for now.
• New - Edit the quick-pick speed chips in the speed sheet. Tap + to save the current speed as a preset, long-press a chip to remove it. Reset from Settings > Playback.
• Improved - Switching libraries no longer stops playback when Merge Libraries is enabled. Browse other libraries while your audiobook keeps playing.
• Fixed - Notification, widget, and Bluetooth controls no longer go dead after a long pause. Previously the only fix was force-restarting the app. (I'm hoping this fixes it for those users who have reported external media controls that stop working. It hasn't happened to me, so please let me know if it keeps happening.

Admin

• New - Metadata editor supports multiple series per book. Tap "Add series" to add another.
• New - ReadMeABook integration. Paste your RMAB URL with a login token in admin Manage to open RMAB inside Absorb, signed in automatically via the token.
  • Lives on the admin page since that felt fitting for admin users managing the server's RMAB instance.

Settings

• New - Settings > Advanced > ReadMeABook lets any user open their own RMAB instance to request books, using a personal login URL their server admin provides.
  • It's an in-app webview that opens a fixed URL. ReadMeABook is what I use for book requests, so it's the first one supported. A token auth URL is the best choice so you don't have to log in every time.
  • Lives in Advanced for regular users who just have request access.
