Large libraries

• Improved - The library loads a small first page, then bigger pages fetched ahead of your scroll
• Fix - A page that fails to load shows a retry instead of a spinner forever
• Fix - Searching a library past 10,000 books no longer floods the server
• Fix - Opening a series from a book shows that book right away, with a retry if the server is slow
• Improved - The authors tab loads in pages instead of fetching every author at once

Sync

• Fix - A position that loses to the server is replaced instead of retrying forever, and reopening the app no longer re-saves a paused position as fresh (iPhone and iPad drifting minutes apart)

Downloads

• Fix - Deleting a book no longer lets auto-download bring it straight back; it stays gone until you download it yourself

Settings sync

• New - The Absorbing order syncs between devices
• Fix - Auto-download switches and reader looks stay on the device they were set on

Book sheet

• Fix - Descriptions keep their paragraph breaks and show in full

iOS

• Fix - Absorb leaves the headset with an app you paused instead of taking it back
• Fix - The lock screen shows the right chapter after a headset or widget session moved the book along while the app was asleep, and keeps the cover when playback starts
• Improved - Covers are dropped from memory in the background, so a paused Absorb is less likely to be evicted and lose Now Playing to another app
