Belchertown 3.0.1: translations and fixes
A maintenance release for 3.0. Nothing to change in your configuration: install it over 3.0.0 and restart weewx.
weectl extension install weewx-belchertown-3.0.1.tar.gz
Your graphs.conf, about.inc, custom.css and other files in skins/Belchertown carry over. Taking a copy of that folder first is still a good idea.
Translations
- German, Catalan, French and Italian are complete, including the Chart Builder, the alerts and the NOAA reports.
langnow sets the date and number format too, unlessbelchertown_localeis set. A site withlang = deon an English server used to show German text with English dates and numbers.- Chart titles, series names and the Day / Week / Month / Year buttons in
graphs.confare looked up as labels, so they can be translated. The chart menu and the reset zoom button follow the language. - Text that was fixed English (page title and description, footer, NOAA reports, the yearly wind table) now comes from the language files.
Fixes
- The units button reads the server's numbers correctly when the locale isn't installed on the server (with
lang = fron a "C" server, 7.4 °C became 165.2 °F), converts temperature ranges as a difference, and converts the gauge colors. - Live updates survive a packet with a
%dobservation such aslightning_strike_count, retry when the broker can't be reached while the page loads, and no longer give one observation another's value (windGustshowingwindGustDir). - Charts: a series or chart that can't be built is skipped and logged instead of stopping the rest of its chart group.
xAxis_groupbyworks on MySQL 8 and MariaDB.legend = True/Falseno longer blanks the chart group. - Wind: the week, month and year wind direction is a vector mean (a wind around north no longer shows as south), and the wind rose no longer drops the records between two speed bands.
- Records and NOAA: rain streaks across a daylight saving change or at UTC+12, placeholders for a station with no rain yet, and NOAA columns when a sensor is missing.
- Forecast and earthquake: a failed download keeps the last one instead of emptying it, and the earthquake download gives up after 15 seconds instead of holding up the report.
- Home page: survives polar days and nights, a quote in the station location, and a missing chart group. The gauge and AQI values sit in the middle of their ring again (#1011).
The full list is in the changelog.
