This release makes tables easier to read and export, adds fullscreen table previews, and gives you more control over reading preferences, app language, and app links.
Added
- Expand tables fullscreen. Use Expand Table in Read or Edit Mode to open a read-only snapshot; press Escape to return to your document (#476).
- Choose text alignment. Settings → Reading offers Automatic, Left, Center, Right, and Justified prose alignment, shared with Quick Look. Changes update open reading views while preserving code, table, and explicit HTML alignment (#480).
- Choose the app language. Settings → General → Language lets you select English, Simplified Chinese, or System Default. Quit and reopen the app to apply the choice; Quick Look keeps its system-selected language (#472).
- Open custom app links. Read Mode and Quick Look support links to other apps with a native confirmation dialog. Always Allow remembers approval for that URL scheme; reset saved approvals in Settings → General → App links (#478).
Changed
- Reading preferences have their own settings pane. Find text size, content width, alignment, line breaks, and outline highlighting under Reading; General groups app behavior and external tools, while Appearance holds theme customization (#479).
- Tables fit PDF, PNG, and paper output. Wide tables wrap or scale to fit while surrounding text retains its size. The print dialog offers 50–200% scale and font-size controls; dense tables may use smaller text (#476).
Fixed
- Table columns stay readable. Ordinary words and inline code keep their natural widths in Read and Edit modes instead of stacking one character per line; wide tables scroll horizontally (#476).
- Collapsing the sidebar reclaims toolbar space. The outline/folder picker and its spacing disappear while collapsed, then return in their saved position. Toolbar customization persists across windows and relaunches (#482).
