This release keeps Finder navigation responsive in Quick Look, improves image and sidebar layout, preserves custom themes in full screen, and closes a renderer sanitization bypass.
Changed
- Custom themes now extend through the full-screen toolbar. The toolbar, search row, and formatting row keep the selected theme color when entering full screen and restore the system appearance when switching back to Original (#397).
- Sidebar controls remain available at narrow widths. The sidebar stops shrinking before its pane picker would overflow, and older saved widths recover to the same usable minimum (#401).
Fixed
- Quick Look no longer takes over Finder's arrow keys. Previewing a Markdown file keeps keyboard focus with Finder, so the arrow keys continue moving between files and Space still closes the preview. Click inside the preview before using its text-selection and copy commands; the Copy button remains available without a click (#370, #292).
- Images align with surrounding text and use normal paragraph spacing. Read and edit modes now agree on ordinary image alignment and spacing, including linked, inline, reference-style, and quoted images, while preserving explicit HTML alignment (#401).
- Top-level controls and media keep their natural width. Inline elements left behind when unsafe containers are removed no longer stretch across the reading column (#389).
Security
- Markdown cannot escape the renderer's inert article template with mixed-case HTML. Template end tags are now escaped case-insensitively before sanitization, preventing content after a crafted tag from reaching the live document (#398, GHSA-42qg-98g7-78q4).
