Linter v1.34.0

This release culminates in bringing a lot of bug fixes, performance improvements, and some new features to users. The plugin should be a great deal faster (something like 8x on smaller files, and a decent bit faster on larger files, but those still may take 30 seconds to several minutes for files larger than .5MB).

The four main things I would highlight are as follows:

  • Performance gains are due to a change in how linting is applied, it should be a decent bit faster. If there are issues that start showing up, please report them, so they can be looked into.
  • YAML support should be a decent bit better. Not everything uses the YAML package for handling YAML related updates as some invalid YAML is still handled by Linter. Please file any issues around the new YAML setup to help round out any cases that may have been missed.
  • Empty blank line around rules have had a slight behavior change to make it so that each rule is consistent in how they work and are less likely to break subsequent callouts or blockquotes. This means that if you had two rules for empty lines around side by side in two different level blockquotes, you might get stuck in a situation where each lint would yield a different result. This should be fixed now. If there is any wierdness around this please file an issue, so it can be addressed.
  • The mutli-input options have now changed from a text area to a page with list items that you can add in the settings pages. This should allow for a more user friendly way of setting up things like keys to ignore or YAML to insert into the files. The validation should prevent inserting a value that is not intended, but there may still need work that needs done on the validation logic. Please file an issue if the validation is not catching something that creates a problem or is unclear.
