This release enables the Prague execution-layer fork on mainnet.
As of this release, the Prague fork is scheduled to occur on mainnet at block timestamp 1751934608 (Tue, July 8, 2025, 00:30:08 UTC.).
Upgrade Notes
- If you are upgrading from a version prior to v1.1.0, we strongly recommend reading the
Database
section in the v1.1.0 release note and following the How to Perform a Mainnet Upgrade. - If you are upgrading from v1.1.0 → v1.1.1, the upgrade is direct and safe.

Users may download the client from the attached binaries. Note that the binaries are compiled with ubuntu-24.04.1 LTS and go1.22.11. If you are running the client on incompatible machines, please compile the story-geth client from source code by pulling the tag on your machine.
Misc
If your project depends on go-ethereum as a library, make sure to upgrade your dependency to v1.15.10 or higher before integrating the Pectra release.
