github phantomptr/ps5upload v7.4.0

  • Security scanning on every change. Every pull request now runs a security scan: known
vulnerable Rust and npm dependencies (cargo audit, npm audit) and secrets anywhere in the git
history (gitleaks); make security runs the same scan locally. CodeQL checks our Rust,
TypeScript, Python and workflow code on every change and weekly. Every release file is
scanned with ClamAV before it is published, and gets a GitHub build attestation you can verify
    with gh attestation verify <file> -R phantomptr/ps5upload (FAQ: anti-virus).
  • Dependency fixes. crypto-bigint 0.7.7 (constant-time fixes, RUSTSEC-2026-0387), zod 4.6.7
(memory exhaustion on oversized input, development tooling only), chacha20 0.10.2 (the yanked
0.10.1 replaced). Third-party CI actions are pinned to exact commits, and Dependabot waits
three days before proposing a new release.
  • Smaller Android download, 32-bit phones get their own APK. The Android app is now built
per processor: PS5Upload-<ver>-android.apk for 64-bit phones and tablets (nearly all of
them), PS5Upload-<ver>-android-armv7.apk for older 32-bit ones, and release builds leave out
debug symbols. The 64-bit download drops from about 115 MB to about 40 MB. A 32-bit phone that
updates from inside the app is offered the 64-bit APK once ("App not installed"); download
the armv7 APK from the Releases page instead.
  • Installed games in the command palette. Cmd/Ctrl+K finds every game installed on your
saved consoles, not only the ones in Collection, and says which console has it.
  • The Wake screen's sample keys are plain made-up values.
