github phantomptr/ps5upload v7.0.10

latest releases: v7.0.12, v7.0.11

7.0.9 was tagged but never published: its Android build failed on a desktop-only permission
(the file drag-out plugin), caught before the release existed. Everything below ships here.

  • The app no longer sends the helper into a console that is still booting. With the app
open while the PS5 started, the automatic helper restore fired the moment the loader port
answered, which on a cold boot is before kstuff and the rest of the jailbreak chain are
loaded; an FW 11.40 console crashed three times out of three. The automatic restore now
waits 90 seconds after the loader first appears. Your own sends from the Connection screen
    are not held.
  • Payloads → Payload Manager. A new tab for itsPLK's Payload Manager on the console: what
it stores, Launch and Delete, and its boot list (load at boot, order). On the Catalog tab,
Store in Payload Manager keeps a downloaded payload on the PS5 under its own name; an
existing folder is confirmed first, because Payload Manager replaces that folder's other
files. Payload Manager itself and LZ4 Compression (on-console game compression by
theghostonline) are in the catalogue, and the Connection screen's scene tools open their
    web pages.
  • Files: drag a file out of the window onto your desktop or file manager (desktop app).
The first drag fetches the file into a staging folder; keep holding the mouse button, or
drag it again once it says it is ready. Files over 4 GB keep using right-click → Download.
  • Volumes: Eject a USB drive. Unmounts /mnt/usbN so it can be unplugged safely. The
PS5's own services usually hold the drive open, so the app offers "Eject anyway", which
flushes the drive first; just make sure no game or app is reading from it.
  • Stopped uploads resume for 7 days, and Stop says so (#440). Stop has kept what already
reached the PS5 and Start continued from there since 6.0; the app forgot a one-shot
upload's resume id after 24 hours though, while the console keeps the data for 7 days.
Both now agree on 7 days, and the Stop buttons explain what is kept.
  • Home at a large Text size. The action tiles squeezed their labels to one letter per line
("U p l o a d") once the text was big enough. Home's grids now answer to their own width,
so they drop to fewer columns, and a tile too narrow for icon and label side by side
    stacks them.
  • "Coffee or tokens" replaces "Buy me a coffee" on Home, About and the site.
  • README and DISCLAIMER say how the project is built (with AI coding tools, directed and
tested by the maintainer) and what that means for you.
