- Send files from one console to another (#433). In Files, select files or folders and choose
Send to another console… (in the toolbar or a row's menu). Pick the console and the folder
on it; before anything runs you see whether it fits and which names already there get replaced.
Each item is queued on that console as a copy, and the originals stay where they are. The queue
row says where it came from. - Straight between the consoles (Beta). When the two consoles can reach each other, the copy
now goes directly from one to the other instead of through this computer, so the computer's
network and disk no longer slow it down. When they can't (different networks, an older helper,
a firewall), it goes through this computer as before, and the queue row says which way it went
and why. Both routes pick up where the other left off. Both consoles need the 6.8.0 helper for
the direct route.
