github phantomptr/ps5upload v6.5.0

latest release: v6.5.1

The Collection, Move to…, and a big round of fixes: Android connects again, the helper starts
on FW 5.50, and the web UI can pair.
Update the app; it updates the helper by itself.

New

  • Collection: every game in the folders you add (packages, game folders, game images,
archives, PS3 packages), grouped by game with its updates and DLC, duplicates and their size.
Search, filters, grid or table, covers, exports, automatic rescan. Folders on a NAS (SMB, FTP,
FTPS, SFTP) are scanned in place without mounting. Import from PS Game Library brings its
index over; PS Game Library is now part of ps5upload.
  • What this PS5 has: each game shows whether the selected console has it and at which
version. Install a game with its update and DLC, just the update or the missing DLC, or
Bring this PS5 up to date in one go.
  • Copy install link: host a package for a console (or any device you allow) to fetch itself;
Serving lists the links and stops them.
  • Organize packages renames and files packages the way PS Game Library does, with a preview
and undo. Move to Trash, Keep the largest copy and Clean up junk files (._,
.DS_Store and friends) tidy the drives.
  • Send a game folder as one image: Upload builds a compressed .ffpfsc (or .ffpkg /
.exfat) and uploads it by itself. Convert writes .ffpkg, .ffpfs and .exfat, compresses
while writing and checks every image afterwards (writers from PS5 Dump Forge, thanks quer3q).
  • Files: Move to… picks a drive's homebrew folder, a recent folder or any folder and tells
you first whether it moves instantly or copies to another drive, and whether it fits.
  • Files: Set permissions (777) for any file or folder.
  • Sign in to PlayStation Network (offline) in Profile, for Remote Play.

Fixed

  • Android: 6.x could not connect on Android 17 ("Port 9021 is not open"). The app now asks
for local network access and shows a red bar until you allow it.
  • Helper on FW 5.50: every 6.x helper stopped before it started on some firmware (5.36
worked). Fixed for the helper, the installer and the patched elfldr.
  • Web UI pairing: the self-hosted web UI can now send the helper (which pairs it), and no
longer says "ready" while it isn't paired.
  • Screenshots crash loop on Linux: a damaged capture can no longer close the app; each one
    is decoded on its own.
  • Installs started your queued uploads: an install now runs by itself; uploads you queued
    wait for Start.
  • Moves to another drive check each copied file before removing the original (Cut and
Paste too), so a short copy never costs the original.
  • An install that finished while the app was closed shows as done instead of "interrupted".
  • The app can't reach its engine: every screen now says why and offers Restart engine.
  • Health check starts the package installer if it isn't running yet.

Better

  • "The PS5 declined the install" now shows Sony's error code with what it means, and how far
the console got (refused at once, part-way, or after downloading everything).
  • 0x80B21104 explains what to try. Free space a big upload seems to lose is explained
in the FAQ (it's the PS5's own reserve).
  • Connection screen: a failed step shows its full message, and Load elfldr first is hard
    to miss.
  • Keep awake covers every upload and install, Stream installs included.
  • Games cards are larger, with Play and Close up front and the rest in one menu.
