"The PS5 declined the install" (0x80B2116F) is fixed. Update the app; it sends its new
installer to the console by itself on the next install.
0x80B2116Fwas our bug. The install request ps5upload handed the PS5 was a few bytes
short, so the PS5 read leftover memory and sometimes took a full package for a patch. That
refused every Upload & install, and made Stream installs fail at random after a few
attempts. Measured on two consoles on FW 13.60: refused every time before, accepted every
time after, including a 3.6 GB game installed over itself and its patch. FW 9.60, 11.20 and
5.10 showed the same refusal and should be fixed by the same change; we could not test them.- Console tabs keep their screens: switching to another console and back keeps what you
typed, opened and loaded for each one (the last three consoles). - Volumes: "Kept by ps5upload" lists the folders the app itself writes on each drive and
how much they hold, with Clean up for temp and test files. Your package library and
save backups are only opened from there, never deleted. - Play closes a running game first from every Play button (Game hub, Game files,
Backport, Convert), not only in Games. - Games: a failed Download can be resumed, and a stopped or failed Move offers
Try the move again. - Pairing (Android and desktop): after Resend helper in the pairing dialog, the app
waits for the PS5 to accept instead of asking once and leaving "not accepting new pairings"
on screen. An app upgraded from 5.x is a new device to the PS5; this is the one-tap way in. - Remote Play: how to unlock the PS5's own Remote Play setting with np-fake-signin v1.4.
- The on-console package server keeps its connections open and logs what the PS5 asked for,
so a refused install can be read from a bug report.
