Switching screens no longer loses what you were doing. Update the app; the helper is
unchanged apart from its version.
- Screens keep their state: going to another screen and back keeps what you typed, what
you selected, open panels and where you had scrolled. - Operations keep running and stay visible when you switch screens or console tabs:
copying files into Files (drag-in, Add files, Add folder), downloading a link to the
PS5, a game's Download and Move in Games, and Send helper. They also show in Tasks. - Resume a copy into Files after you stop it, after it fails, or after the app closes or
crashes part-way. What already reached the PS5 is kept, so Resume sends only the rest. A
dropped connection is retried by itself, and the copy carries on when the PS5 comes back
from rest mode. - Storage that adds up: the PS5's internal drive holds back about a fifth more than you
write (measured on two consoles). Volumes and the Upload screen now show what is likely
to fit, and an upload over that says it may not fit but lets you go ahead. Only a real
shortfall still refuses an upload. The FAQ explains it, and what fills "Other" on the PS5. - Play while another game is running asks to close that game first, closes it, then
starts yours. Before, the running game closed and the new one never started. - Clearer messages: a game the PS5 refuses to start while kstuff is running points at
ShadowMount+; Mount on an image ShadowMount+ manages says it mounts when the game starts;
on a Mac, "No route to host" names the Local Network permission; "not accepting new
pairings" has a Resend helper button. - Connections: closing a package you viewed returns to the same folder.
- Payloads: ps5debug-NG is in the catalogue.
