github phantomptr/ps5upload v5.9.2

latest releases: v5.10.1, v5.10.0

Installing is safer, and Stream install is no longer beta.

  • A failed "Upload & install" could delete the game it was replacing.
The PS5 clears the old copy before writing the new one, so an install
that failed part-way left you with neither. Re-installing a game that
is already installed from PS5 storage is now refused, with a pointer to
    Stream install instead.
  • Stream install has left beta. Across both test consoles and
packages up to 3.5 GB it worked every time, while the staged upload
path failed every time. It no longer hides behind a warning — and the
old warning's advice ("if it fails, use Upload & install") pointed at
the one path that can lose a game.
  • Failed installs say so immediately. A rejected install used to sit
on a spinner for ten minutes before admitting it. Installing an update
whose base game is missing now tells you at once, and errors the PS5
reports come with the fix rather than just a number.
  • Installs tell you they finished — on the PS5 itself. A notification
appears on the console when an install completes, stalls or fails, and
Stream install now shows its result in the Install Package view instead
of only in the app's notification bell.
  • Smoother scrolling in long lists. Game and file lists skip the work
of drawing rows that are off-screen.
  • Bug reports now include the console's own logs on the web build, where
they were silently empty, plus ShadowMount+'s log, a helper-version
mismatch flag and the console clock.
