Mount and Edit files stopped opening the same window, and a failed
hand-off no longer quietly mounts the image somewhere else.
- Mount and Edit files are now visibly different actions. They opened
an identical window, which is a fair reason to think they did the same
thing. Worse, that shared window was misleading in both directions: with
ShadowMount+ running, Mount asked you to pick a mount point and then
discarded your choice (ShadowMount+ picks it), and Edit files offered a
"read-only" tickbox that contradicts the button you just pressed. Mount
now hands off with no dialog at all — there was never a choice to make —
and Edit files has its own window without the tickbox. - A failed hand-off says so instead of doing something else. If
ShadowMount+ owns an image and handing it over fails, the app used to
fall back to mounting the image itself — silently putting it somewhere
ShadowMount+ doesn't manage, which is the opposite of what the button
said. It now reports the problem and changes nothing. - The web UI can hand games to ShadowMount+ again. Writing a small
file to the console had no browser-mode route, so this failed every
time there (and, before the fix above, failed silently). - Deciding whether ShadowMount+ is running no longer re-probes it on every
click. That probe reads a 256 KB log, and a slow one was enough to send
a mount or a register down the wrong path — the register case races
ShadowMount+ for the home-screen entry. - The disk-images list now says what you can do with an image — mount it
to play, or edit it to add DLC or apply a backport — instead of leaving
that to be discovered by pressing something. - "Not seen playing" was styled as a warning via a colour token that
doesn't exist, so it silently had no colour at all. It's information,
not a warning, and now reads as such.
