Cancel really cancels, and a console can be reached by name.
- Cancelling an upload stops it. If you hit Cancel while the upload was
still being set up — the window is longest for a.rar, where the whole
archive is read through before the transfer starts — the transfer went
ahead anyway. Free space on the console kept shrinking, and closing the
app was the only way to stop it. Cancel now takes effect no matter when
you press it, and a cancelled upload is never quietly retried. - You can use a host name instead of an IP address. Typing something
likeps5.lannever worked: the address was only ever read as a literal
IP, so nothing could connect and the app reported the console as not
running the helper. Names now resolve, and IPv4 is preferred so a stale
IPv6 record doesn't slow every connection down. - A failed connection check says why. "Port 9021 is not open" now comes
with the actual reason, so a name that didn't resolve reads differently
from a console that isn't ready yet. - The scene-tools strip no longer shows the previous console's tools.
After switching address it kept the old results on screen until the new
check finished.
