When the console refuses an uninstall, the app now says so.
- An uninstall the console rejected was reported as success. The helper
asks the PS5's own uninstaller to remove a game; if the console refused,
that refusal was written to a log file and nowhere else, so the app
cheerfully reported the game as uninstalled while it stayed in Settings →
Storage. The refusal, and the console's reason code, are now returned and
logged. Found while chasing a real case where a game could not be deleted
and every attempt looked like it had worked. - You can now snapshot the console's content databases. These two files
are the console's record of what is installed, and they can drift from
what is actually on the drives — which is how a game with no files left
can still sit in Storage refusing to be deleted. Taking a copy before
changing anything turns a bad repair into one you can undo.
