(5.37.0 was tagged but never published; everything it had is here.)

No more loading elfldr again.

  • The stock elfldr on port 9021 could get stuck for good when a connection
dropped mid-send — Wi-Fi hiccups, a computer going to sleep, or the PS5
entering rest mode — and then ignored everything until you loaded it
again. ps5upload now carries an elfldr that recovers by itself, and
swaps it in whenever the console's helper comes up. (Only the standard
elfldr is replaced; any other loader on port 9021 is left alone.)
  • The app no longer sends into a stuck loader: it waits for one that is
recovering, and says plainly when elfldr needs loading again.

Add several games at once. (#335)

  • Upload several sources together. Pick several files or folders, drop
several at once, or use Add games from a folder…: they appear in a
review list that checks each one, shows where it will land and flags
problems, then queues them all with one button.
  • Tick several in the in-app browser. In the browser build, on Android and
when browsing a saved server, the file browser now has checkboxes that stay
ticked while you move between folders, and an Add N button.

Nothing hidden behind More.

  • The sidebar lists every screen, in its sections, from the first launch.
Hover a screen to hide it; fold a section you don't use. Hidden screens come
back from More, where each has a show/hide switch. (Favorites are
retired: starring screens is no longer needed to reach them.)

Convert, more ways.

  • A convert queue. Queue several games; they're converted one after
another, and each finished package can go straight to the console's install
    queue.
  • More sources. Convert from a .zip, .7z or .rar (including a
password-protected or multi-part .rar), from a .ffpfsc image, or straight
from a game on a saved server or on the PS5, without copying it first.
  • Convert & replace. Swaps a game dump on the console for its package: the
dump is set aside, the package installs, and the dump comes back if anything
    fails.
  • Game language. For a game that stays in English on a console set to
another language, Convert can declare one language in the package. Most
games follow the console's language and aren't affected.
  • Closer build times. The time on each compression level now covers the
whole build — compress, write and verify — using measured drive speeds,
instead of the compression step alone (which read 17 minutes for a 71-minute
build). It can still read short for a game the computer read very recently,
while that game is in the system's file cache.

Stream & install first.

  • Stream & install (renamed from Stream install) is now the main way to
install: it's the first, highlighted button on Install Package, dropping a
package onto the screen streams it, and a .pkg picked on Upload offers it
as the recommended route. Nothing is copied to the PS5 first.
  • Upload & install (renamed from Add package) copies the package to the
PS5 first, for when the console can't reach this computer.

See what a package is before you install it.

  • Package viewer. Click View details on a package in Install Package,
or on Upload's package card, to see its cover, version, region, minimum
firmware, SDK and build date, the update's "What's new" notes, and every
field in its PARAM. It also says plainly whether this PS5 can run it,
whether it's already installed (and if this one is newer or older), and
whether it fits. Works for .pkg files (including split sets), .exfat and
    .ffpkg images, and game folders.

One queue for each console.

  • Queue stream installs. Stream installs, links, library installs and
External Packages now all go into the console's queue and run one after
another — no more "Another install is in progress", and a running install
no longer greys out the buttons for the next one. A game's update and DLC
always install after the game itself, whatever order you queue them in.
  • See the queue where you install. Install Package shows the console's
queue at the top: what is installing, and each waiting item's place in
line. The console tab shows how many items are waiting.
  • Retry via upload. If the PS5 can't reach this computer for a stream
install, its queue row offers to upload the package and install it instead.
  • An install that was running when the app closed is never re-run by itself —
check the game, then retry if needed. Queued links aren't saved to disk.

Package viewer, everywhere.

  • The viewer now has Files, Images and Related tabs, and opens
packages and games on a saved server or on the PS5 as well as on this
computer — from Install Package, Upload, Convert, the queue, File System,
the server browser, or by dropping a file on the app.

Fixes.

  • Retrying an interrupted single-file upload could write past the end of the
file; it now resumes exactly where the PS5 left off.
  • Uninstalling a game folder the app registered no longer leaves it listed
    in Games.
  • Force-quitting or crashing the desktop app no longer leaves its engine
    running and holding its port.
  • A save backup folder (such as PPSA17221.bak) shows its game's icon and
    name.
  • Every screen uses the same layout, buttons never squeeze their labels, and
phones wrap long titles and button rows.
  • Section headers, tabs and small buttons show at their intended size; they
were all drawn at body-text size.
  • The web UI Docker image builds again (its FAQ and Changelog screens were
    missing from the build).
  • In the browser build, the FAQ and changelog load, and options a web page
    can't provide are hidden.
