github phantomptr/ps5upload v5.26.0

pre-release2 hours ago

Your account ID, a readable fan curve, and consoles in the order you want them.

Profile

  • Your account ID is visible again. It always reached the app; the screen
was throwing it away and showing a dash instead, on every console that has
    an account.
  • Both forms are shown, and both copy. The same account is written one way
by the console and another by Remote Play pairing — pasting the wrong one
into the Remote Play field simply fails. The Remote Play form is now
labelled as such, so there is nothing to work out.
  • You can change the account ID, with a warning that spells out what it
costs: saves made under the old ID stop being recognised until you put it
back. It asks you to confirm, and shows you the old value first.
  • The account section is no longer called "Offline-account slots" unless you
actually have an offline-activated account — a normal PSN account lives
    there too.

Console

  • The fan curve editor is readable. Bigger, responsive, with presets, and
it tells you the duty cycle at any temperature instead of making you read it
    off a cramped graph.
  • Console health explains itself when it is empty. It used to show a wall
of dashes with no hint whether the reading was unsupported, still loading,
or genuinely broken. It also no longer trusts a boot count the console does
    not reliably report.

Getting around

  • Order your PS5s. Drag them into the order you want in Manage PS5s, and
both the console dropdown and the tabs at the top follow it.
  • About sits at the bottom of the sidebar, below whatever you have starred,
instead of pushing your own screens down.
  • Settings line up. The panels were different sizes and aligned oddly; the
grid is now even at every window width.
  • Discord is linked from About, alongside GitHub and X, and the bug-report
screen points at GitHub issues and the Discord bug channel.
  • Payload suggestions. If you are not sure what to install, the essentials
are named: kstuff-lite, shadowmountplus and nanodns.

Under the hood

  • A 64-bit account ID can no longer be quietly rounded in transit — it used to
be possible to activate a different account than the one you typed, failing
in the worst way by appearing to work.
