Fixes the console disconnects and "ps5upload isn't responding".
Hardware
- Reading sensors no longer risks dropping your console connection.
ps5upload asked the PS5 for SoC power draw using the wrong call shape, and
the console wrote far more data back than ps5upload had made room for. On
consoles that report power draw this corrupted the helper's memory — which
showed up as the app going unresponsive, or the connection dying moments
after it was established. It has been reported as a firmware problem for
months; it was ours. - Power draw is now read correctly — the total across the PS5's eight
power rails, instead of a mis-read number that had to be guessed at.
If you saw disconnects, this is very likely the cause. Consoles that never
reported power draw were never affected.
