github phantomptr/ps5upload v5.22.0

Wake and sign-in set themselves up, and installs stop reporting success as
failure.

Wake & sign in

  • One button now sets up wake-from-standby. ps5upload reads what it needs
from the console itself — you no longer have to hunt down a wake code, a
registration key and an RP-Key, and you no longer need Chiaki or any other app
to get them. Typing them by hand is still there as a fallback, tucked away.
  • Remote Play is switched on for you as part of that setup, instead of the
attempt failing with "Remote Play is turned off on the console".
  • Setting up used to silently save nothing. The keys the console returns
were a different length than the app expected, so a setup that looked
    successful left sign-in unconfigured. Fixed.
  • The panel says what's happening — whether it's ready, part-way (wake works
but stops at user-select), busy, or waiting for you to turn the console on.

Installs

  • Successful installs are no longer reported as failures. The install helper
on the console was crashing right after it queued the work, so the app never
heard back and said the install had failed — while the game or patch was
installing normally. Packages that looked broken were fine all along.
  • Package installs show up in Tasks with progress, like uploads do, instead
of leaving you guessing whether anything was happening.
  • Better advice when a patch really is refused. The old message pointed at
the console's own Package Installer, which is the same path ps5upload already
uses, so it could not have helped.

Fixes

  • The app no longer risks a blank screen on older Android WebViews.
