Cheats show up for every game, patch installs are honest, and interrupted work
recovers on its own.

Cheats

  • Downloaded cheats now appear for every game. Some cheat files are saved in
UTF-16, which the on-console reader couldn't see — so those games showed "No
cheats found" even though the file was there. They're now read correctly.
  • Cheat versions are shown in the list, so it's easy to pick a cheat that
    matches your installed game build.

Installs

  • Patch failures explain themselves. When a patch or DLC can't install, you
get the real reason — base game missing, wrong version, content-id mismatch,
not enough space, console busy — instead of a silent stall or a false success.
  • Patch and DLC installs check for the base game first. Installing an update
or add-on whose base game isn't on the console used to accept the job and
stall for ten minutes before failing. Now it's rejected instantly with a clear
    "install the base game first."
  • The update installer is kept ready. The install daemon is re-armed
automatically after a standby, and if it dies while the console stays awake —
so applying an update no longer fails by discovering, minutes in, that the
    installer was never there.

Reliability

  • Interrupted uploads resume on wake. If the console rests part-way through
an upload, the transfer used to give up and wait for you to click Retry. Now,
once the console wakes and the helper is back, the upload picks up where it
left off on its own — only for connection-class interruptions, never for a
    real failure like out-of-space.
  • Cleaner wake sign-in teardown, closing the Remote Play control session
gracefully after signing your user in.
